I want to thank all volunteers and staff to helping with our State Race last Saturday! I also want to thank all of the riders and fans who came and enjoyed great racing action, despite the chance of threatening weather. It turned out to be a great afternoon of racing! I also want to thank our main sponsor - Four Square Builders for their support.
Today looks like another dry great day for racing. Tonight's race is sponsored by Priority One and Knife River. See you there!

Thank you to all who were able to help over the week-end! We were able to get the track tuned up and glued! The track is closed until tonight to allow time for curing. Ongoing improvement are scheduled this week in preparation of our State Qualifier this week-end. Racing is scheduled for Tuesday with Sam's tire as the sponsor. The novice clinic is set for Friday at 4pm, with gate practice to follow at 6pm.
I will post at 3pm to confirm racing on Tuesday.

Due to yet another day of rain, today's race and clinic are canceled. The next beginners clinic is scheduled for Friday June 25th from 4-6pm, with gate practice to follow. We will also host a vintage swap meet that evening and into the next day with our State Qualifier.
Our Race for Life was canceled last Tuesday, and we will postpone the event until a new date in July. We will reschedule the Glencoe Leadership race for the same event. This also allows a little more time to raise donations for the charity.
Next weekend will be our major track work week-end with hopes of being able to fine tune the track, re-roll and compact the surface and apply the Soil-tac surface treatment. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers.
Monday night will also be a track maintenance night, as the recent rains have affected most parts of the track. Hopefully we will avoid rain and get a race in on Tuesday.I will post at 3pm on Tuesday......

Due to the wet conditions, our Race for Life is again canceled. We will re-schedule for next Tuesday, allowing a little more time to collect contributions for the RFL fundraiser. One of our riders has collected over $200 so far! The top fundraiser will receive an award the night of the Race for Life.
Saturday is our Novice Clinic from 4-6pm. We'll have registration and gate practice from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Racing will be at 7pm. The cost for the clinic is $15, which includes racing fees. The feature race is our "Glencoe Leadership Race" around 8pm. Saturday night will be a regular single points race event.
The asphalt finish line is scheduled for Friday. We will also need volunteers on Saturday and Sunday, June 19th & 20th to do track work and install the Soil-tac surface. Lunch will be provided.

Tonight's Race for Life is canceled. We will try to reschedule for next Tuesday. Due to the rain we will likely need to tune -up a few spots on the track on Monday night. The new Buffalo Creek number plates are in and will be available at the track in the concessions area next week. We also have posters available for distribution to help promote the track in popular youth gathering areas.
The delay of the Race for Life will give additional time to raise donations for the L&L Society. Please bring envelopes with contributions to the race next week. Our goal is raise over $1000 for the event. See you next week!
